This is another design idea I had swirling in my head for a while. For the cover of our 2007 family DVD I wanted to illustrate the growth and boyish rampage of my toddler. What better way than in the style of a 50's horror movie poster. I shot the picture of a section of our city business district and just placed him above it. There are many little touches to authenticate this, the green tinting, the bloated lettering with some "marks" in the lettering, the burnt border effect and the screaming clip art lady. To make it interesting I hid some of the details of the DVD in the building signage. For the back I tried to do another marquee poster style since I had some appropriate pics of my daughter as a witch from Halloween. One of my favorites for sure!
