This was a music store style display poster advertising a new CD release supported by the complete band artist compilation. The alien was completely created by me pulling different elements from different picture sources. The head was just a bald white guy which I tinted green and extended the ears. After placing the spike headband on the alien I had the make a second layer of just one of the spikes so I could shadow it properly on his head. I did however forget to shadow him against the globe. One of the guys I gave the poster to didn't realize for weeks that he was actually in the poster kind of hidden in the rusted texture.
